Stephen and I have been developing a kaupapa for a new project. We wanted to do something real and tangible to support the talented songwriters out there in the NZ music community, those who keep on amazing us with their skill and imagination.
And today, we got the news that our application for a Creative New Zealand Resilience Grant had been APPROVED!

The grant will go towards a new online collaborative music project called AUDIENCE SONG. This project will help newly established songwriters build their audience & community engagement. Members of the collective will write songs inspired by their audience’s experiences living in the COVID-19 world.

How to get involved

If you are a ‘newly established’ songwriter and would like to get involved in this project, please message us for more details. It’s a PAID gig and provides extras such as being part of a creative community along with songwriting support and mentorship.
